AGN Energia Sells Technical Gas Business to Nippon Gases

AGN Energia S.p.A. – a leading company in the Italian liquefied fuel gas market – has sold its business unit dedicated to the commercialization of technical and industrial gases to Nippon Gases Industrial S.r.l.

The transaction is part of AGN Energia’s broader strategic evolution in the energy sector, aimed at consolidating and focusing on the company’s core activities, strengthening its positioning in key energy segments: LPG and LNG, electricity, and natural gas, also through renewable energy production and the provision of energy efficiency solutions.

The acquisition allows Nippon Gases Industrial S.r.l. to further consolidate its presence in the Italian technical and industrial gas market.

The Nippon Group was supported by its in-house team, including Maura Delaini, Head of Legal, and Gianluca Rocca and Elisa Zanusso, Director and Manager of the M&A team, for business and financial aspects.

For AGN Energia, operational aspects of the transaction were managed by the in-house team led by Elena Milan and Elena Risso, respectively Chief Operating Officer and Head of Legal of the AGN Group. LCA Studio Legale has also advised AGN Energia, with a team composed by Riccardo Massimilla and Francesco Doria Lamba.
