Aernnova completes €590m debt refinancing

Spanish multinational aerostructures company Aernnova has refinanced its debt via a €490 million loan and a €100 million revolving credit facility.

The company will use the refinancing for international expansion, acquisitions and working capital.


Aernova – which is owned by TowerBrook Capital Partners, Peninsula Capital and Torreal – designs, manufactures and supplies aerostructures and components such as fuselage sections, tail assemblies and wing structures to major aircraft manufacturers.


Latham & Watkins advised Aernnova on the refinancing. The Latham & Watkins team was led by the firm's Madrid-based corporate partner Ignacio Gómez-Sancha, the London-based finance partner Charles Armstrong, and the Madrid-based finance partner Fernando Colomina.


The Latham & Watkins team also included London associates John Hutton, Michael Spurritt and Chen Yang Sia in London, and Madrid associates Pablo Alarcón and Claudia Mencía.


Tax advice was provided by Madrid-based tax partner Jordi Domínguez and counsel Iván Rabanillo, and London-based partner Karl Mah and associate Alexandra Liu.
