Addleshaw Goddard has announced the promotion of Gonzalo Fernández as a new Partner in the Corporate/M&A practice in its Spain office. The appointment strengthens the firm’s organic growth strategy and further consolidates its position in corporate and transactional legal advisory services.

Gonzalo Fernández brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, and strategic advisory work for both national and international companies. Throughout his career at the firm, he has participated in highly complex transactions, standing out for his technical expertise, management capabilities and his contribution to the continued development of the Corporate/M&A team.

Appointment of new Counsels

Addleshaw Goddard has also approved the promotions of Victoria Ruenes as Counsel in the Corporate team and Cristina Esteban as Counsel in the Employment team.

Victoria Ruenes has built a solid career advising on M&A transactions, corporate governance and general corporate matters, participating in complex transactions involving both domestic and international clients.

Cristina Esteban brings extensive experience in Employment Law, with a particular focus on managing labour relations across companies in diverse sectors, restructurings, collective bargaining processes and employment litigation.
