Racine has added to its roster of legal experts in its Nantes and Strasbourg offices with the nomination of new partners Alexandra Veillard and Steeve Batot, respectively.
Reinforcements are the order of the day at Racine. The Nantes branch has a new partner in the shape of litigation & arbitration and banking & finance expert, Alexandra Veillard, who represents banks and companies which specialize in the purchase and recovery of bank loans. She also acts for banks in debt recovery procedures, writs of execution, guarantees, due diligence, and duty of information provision, etc. She has a degree in contract law from the University of Nantes and a master’s in business law from Rennes University. Veillard began her career in the legal department of CIC bank, where she spent seven years, before brief stints at law firms Artlex and Fidal. She joined her current firm in 2017.
Steeve Batot makes partner after three and a half years with the firm. He is based at the Strasbourg office and specializes in public law, working with public and private companies on projects in the transport, energy, water, and waste management sectors. Whether providing legal advice or in court, in France or further afield, he has acted with distinction. He earned a Phd in public law from the University of Strasbourg.
