Peru’s DLR Legal becomes Belaunde, Carrillo & de los Ríos Abogados
Peruvian law firm DLR Legal has become part of Belaunde, Carrillo & de los Ríos Abogados, with the latter firm, which is also Lima-based, having absorbed the former to strengthen its services offering.

The resulting firm specializes in arbitration, corporate law, business and personal law, administrative law, banking and finance, as well as civil law and contracts, constitutional and corporate law, and M&A, real estate, labor and employment, litigation, intellectual property and antitrust, and serves a wide variety of business sectors.
The firm is led by four senior partners, Martín Belaunde Moreyra, Enrique S. Carrillo Thorne, Víctor Andrés Belaunde Gutérrez and Joaquín de los Ríos de la Torre.
Martín focuses his practice on mining and civil and commercial law. He has worked as a lawyer since 1965, graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and with an LLM from the Universidad San Martín Porres.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association and has been a director, manager and representative of private and state-owned companies, mainly before international mining organizations.
He is also an associate member of the Peruvian Society of International Law. He held the position of Peruvian ambassador to Argentina from 2002-06) and has worked as a senior advisor to the president of the country, as well as a member of congress, from 2011-16.
Enrique S. Carrillo Thorne is a lawyer since 1980, when he graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and is also a member of the Lima Bar Association.
He is an expert in advising companies and associations in the fields of constitutional, civil, commercial, procedural, administrative, bureaucratic, legal and administrative law,
commercial, commercial, procedural, administrative, stock exchange and agrarian law, as well as in institutional relations, image and communication.
He has been involved in human before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San José, Costa Rica, and is an arbitrator at the National and International Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
Víctor Andrés Belaunde Gutérrez is a lawyer since 1998, graduated from Universidad de Lima and with an LLM from George Washington University, and is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
An expert in regulatory matters, socio-environmental issues, local and regional governments,
institutional relations, and he has worked as a consultant to financial institutions in Europe and the US and is currently a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of San Ignacio de Loyola.
Joaquín de los Ríos de la Torre is a lawyer since 2011, graduated from the Universidad de Lima, with studies of specialization in labor law and labor relations at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), and is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
He is an expert in all aspects of labor law, from hiring, individual negotiations and human resources, to corporate and civil law.
