Experienced intellectual-property lawyer Julián Vadillo has joined Mexican law firm Iberand.

Julián Vadillo

Julián Vadillo has more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property law, dealing mainly with cases related to trademark and copyright prosecution and counseling and patent litigation and enforcement.

He has been directly responsible for more than 20,000 cases and proceedings related to trademarks, patents, designs and copyrights in Mexico and internationally.

Mr. Vadillo holds a law degree from Universidad Intercontinental. He was an associate at Rubio Villegas y Asociados until 1999, when he left to form his own firm, Vadillo & Co. In November 2014 he created Agencia Firma together with designer Francisco Rueda - a firm he co-directed until September 2021.

Julian is a member of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), the International Trademark Association (INTA) and Marques, the European association representing the interests of trademark owners, where he has been an active member on several committees and teams.
