The Paris branch of Squire Patton Boggs has added Anthony and Benjamin to its financial services practice with a view to accelerating “the roll out of our strategy, generating further cross-referral work and greater pan-European transactional and funds opportunities,” declared KPMG Avocats president, Mustapha Oussedrat.

Anthony Guillaume has extensive experience of private equity transactions, including M&A, and of advising funds, listed and non-listed companies and management teams. He started his career at Paul Hastings in 2011 and spent four years at White & Case before joining DLA Piper in 2018. A member of the Paris Bar Association, he has law degrees from the University of Rennes and the University of Exeter.

Benjamin Marché’s main area of activity is banking and finance, notably leveraged buy-out transactions. He has considerable restructuring transaction expertise and is adept at handling complex infrastructure investment and financing. Benjamin cut his teeth at Frieh Bouhenic and has also worked at DLA Piper, Allen & Overy, Shearman & Sterling and Clifford Chance. He earned his law degree from the University of Rennes and has a master’s in judicial and financial engineering from that university’s school of management.

Squire Patton Boggs’ global private equity practice has added around 25 PE lawyers in the past two years, as well as private equity tax specialist Charles Briand in Paris.
