Silvia Cerri appointed to ACRA board of directors

Attorney Silvia Cerri, a senior associate at BSVA Studio Legale Associato, has been elected as a member of the board of directors of ACRA.
ACRA is a non-governmental, secular and independent organization that has been engaged for more than 50 years in international cooperation, the protection of human rights and the fight against poverty and inequality. Cerri’s presence on ACRA’s board of directors represents a further strengthening of the management fabric of the organization and compliance relating to the rules governing international cooperation and aimed at consolidating its commitment to social work. A graduate of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Cerri has been working with BSVA law firm since 2018. Previously engaged in the corporate M&A departments of leading law firms, she has gained significant experience in a wide range of legal matters, assisting clients in M&A and investment transactions. In addition, she oversees business activities with a focus on corporate law, commercial contracting and general day-to-day assistance of enterprises with their legal needs. ACRA, founded in Milan in 1968, works together with local communities in Africa and Latin America to guarantee the right of access to food, water, education, and energy. The organization also works to promote the protection and preservation of the environment; and to support inclusive and lasting economic growth, enhancing local talent and promoting gender equality. In Europe and Italy, ACRA promotes a culture of dialogue, integration, intercultural exchange and solidarity; projects to combat gender-based violence and fight climate change, and organizes global citizenship education activities for schools and young people, as well as working to promote sustainable agricultural models and consumption practices.
