Polygon acquires Spanish diagnostic imaging specialist CEDYT

Polygon S.p.A. (Medisolve), a portfolio company of the global private equity firm H.I.G. Capital, has successfully completed the acquisition of CEDYT, a Spanish company specialising in diagnostic imaging services. The transaction represents a strategic milestone in Medisolve’s growth strategy within the healthcare sector and significantly strengthens the group’s presence in the Spanish market, in line with H.I.G. Capital’s international development plan.

The acquisition was facilitated by Bip Law and Tax, alongside Native Strategy (BIP Group). The firm’s Spanish Desk, led by Ilaria Stassano and operating within the international development team headed by John Shehata, managed the tax and labour law profiles of the transaction. The legal team included Carlo Maria Andò and Matteo Tamborini, who coordinated activities with local partners involved in the deal.

This operation further consolidates Bip Law and Tax’s expertise in advising international investors and private equity funds on complex cross-border transactions. By integrating CEDYT’s specialised diagnostic capabilities, Polygon enhances its service offering and operational footprint across the Iberian Peninsula, targeting the high-growth demand for advanced medical imaging services.
