Ignacio Castiglione has joined the labor law practice at Buenos Aires based firm O’Farrell. He will co-lead the practice alongside partner José Luis Zapata.

Castiglione’s  main challenges will include bringing the strategic vision and fresh approach to management of the new generation of lawyers to labor litigation advisory services.

"The incorporation of Ignacio is a vote of confidence from the entire organization regarding his future contributions to the firm, as well as an enormous institutional satisfaction, seeing a professional who has developed in our firm practically since he graduated from university," said Uriel O'Farrell, senior partner of the firm.

Castiglione joined O'Farrell as a junior lawyer in 2011. During his career he has participated in negotiations of collective bargaining agreements with syndicates, complex labor litigation and labor advice in merger and acquisition processes to companies in sectors such as automotive, electric power, oil and gas, textile, insurance, pharmaceutical, retail, construction, telecommunications, among others.

The lawyer graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina has a master's degrees in labor law and international labor relations from the Universidad Nacional Tres de Febrero and in law and economics from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.

Before joining O'Farrell, Ignacio was a consultant to the government of the Province of Santiago del Estero and to the El Derecho publishing house of the Universidad Católica Argentina. He also worked at the law firms Nicholson & Cano and de Diego & Asociados.

"Ignacio's appointment is really well deserved, not only from a human point of view, considering his personal qualities, but also for being an outstanding professional," said the partner in charge of the labor area, José Luis Zapata.
