Mexico’s Ritch Mueller adds partner in its environmental practice

Mexican law firm Ritch Mueller has announced the addition of Brenda Rogel Salgado as a partner in the environmental and social impact practice.

Brenda has more than 20 years of experience in the practice of environmental and regulatory law, assisting a wide range of industries and companies in diagnosing, understanding and managing the environmental and regulatory risks associated with business start-ups, acquisitions, operations, expansions and divestitures.

An expert in the management of contaminated sites and environmental emergencies, as well as the formulation of sustainability and climate change strategies, permit analysis, compliance and regulatory programs, Brenda has worked in the defense of companies in a variety of industries and projects, including governmental agencies’ surveillance actions, imposing sanctions or measures contrary to law.

Brenda has also handled strategic investigations and litigation to protect the environment, climate change adaptation and the promotion of women's and minority rights.

She has received several awards as a leader and outstanding professional in the environmental practice from prestigious law listings and publications.

She holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, as well as a diploma in environmental law and litigation.
