Mexican law firm Soledad & Carrasco launches
Mexican law firm Soledad & Carrasco has announced its launch, founded by partners Jesús Manuel Soledad Terrazas and Gerardo Carrasco Chávez.
The two partners announced that they have combined their knowhow and experience to launch the firm, which specializes in constitutional and administrative litigation, injunction proceedings, anti-corruption law, strategic litigation, telecommunications law and antitrust.
Prior to launching the firm, the two founding partners had notched up a wealth of experience at other firms and as professors in their respective fields.
Jesús Manuel Soledad Terrazas was a partner at law firm Facha y Soledad from 2016-21, and prior to that held the position of partner at law firm López Melih, Facha & Estrada.
He is a law graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho, and is a founding director of strategic litigation at civil association Mexicanos Contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad.
For his part, co-founding partner Gerardo Carrasco Chávez is a professor in anti-corruption practices at the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, and is the legal director of Mexicanos Contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad.
Between 2013-16 he worked as an associate for law firm White & Case, and prior to that at Hogan Lovells.
He holds a master’s degree in financial law from the Universidad Panamericana and is also a law graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho.
