Merger of Bryan Cave and UK law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner
Publicado el 27 feb 2018

The new firm, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP), will have roughly 1,600 lawyers across 32 offices in 11 different countries and combined revenues of about $900 million, putting it in the top 50 law firms worldwide.
“Different to most other international firms, ours will be fully financially integrated from day one,” said Lisa Mayhew, managing partner of BLP. Ms Mayhew will co-chair the new firm with Bryan Cave’s Therese Pritchard.
Mayhew explains that “Clients will benefit from our combined legal expertise; our shared values and culture and our approach to innovation in their interests. Different to most other international firms, ours will be fully financially integrated from day one. This will enable us to work in teams whose only focus will be to provide a first-class service to clients.”
Following the merger, the law firm will operate as Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, effective in early April. The merger will be a full financial integration rather than a merger using the looser Swiss verein structure.
