INDUS Group subsidiary MBRAUN acquires Italian specialist AMIRA

M. BRAUN Inertgas-Systeme GmbH (MBRAUN), a subsidiary of the Frankfurt-listed INDUS Group, has signed a definitive agreement for the acquisition of Amira S.r.l., a highly specialised Italian SME based in Triuggio, north of Milan. The company focuses on biodecontamination solutions using vaporised hydrogen peroxide (V-PHP) technology and brings over 20 years of expertise in the sterilisation of laboratory and industrial production environments.
The Italian firm currently generates annual revenues exceeding €7 million. The transaction remains subject to the necessary approvals from the relevant Italian regulatory authorities.
INDUS Group operates as an independent German industrial holding company, targeting investments in high-tech manufacturing SMEs. The group typically follows a medium-to-long-term buy-and-build strategy, focusing on companies with a strong industrial niche and sustainable growth potential. INDUS provides its portfolio companies with strategic and financial support while allowing them to maintain significant entrepreneurial autonomy.

The financial and tax workstreams were managed by Thomas Giuliani, managing partner of the Bolzano office, alongside associate partner Federica Stramezzi and manager Erald Karriqi.

In its capacity as financial advisor, Amira was represented by Kon S.p.A., with a team led by partner Fabio Ferrini, who oversaw all phases of the M&A process from deal structuring to signing.
