Herbert Smith Freehills, Kramer Levin announce combination

The two firms described the combination as transformational, as the combined firm will have a unique global platform and exceptional reach, and which they described as “the first truly transatlantic and transpacific law firm combination”.
HSF Kramer will deliver unrivalled support to clients on their complex transactions and high-stakes disputes.
The combination will be a top 20 firm globally, with around 2,700 lawyers including some 630 partners across 26 offices, and with more than $2 billion in revenue.
Rebecca Maslen-Stannage, chair and senior partner of Herbert Smith Freehills, said:

Completion of the combination is expected to take place on June 1, 2025.
