A new leading German private bank has been created through the merger of Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers and Bankhaus Lampe KG (Oetker Group). Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers was advised by Mayer Brown.

With 1,400 employees and assets under management of approximately €180 billion, this new company will gain market position in the four core business areas of private banking, asset management, asset servicing and investment banking.
