Fernando Badenes joins Spanish law firm ARPA Abogados as litigation and insolvency partner

Spanish law firm ARPA Abogados Consultores has appointed Fernando Badenes as head of its restructuring and insolvency team within the firm's litigation and insolvency department. Badenes joins from Addleshaw Goddard (formerly King & Wood Mallesons), where he served as a senior associate in the Litigation and Arbitration department. He will also assume the role of local partner for the insolvency litigation practice at the firm’s Madrid office.
A double graduate in Law and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Badenes has over 16 years of experience, specializing in insolvency law, civil, commercial, and criminal litigation, as well as domestic and international arbitration. Throughout his career, he has advised companies in complex insolvency and restructuring proceedings, representing both debtors and creditors, with particular expertise in litigation related to the approval or challenge of restructuring plans and director liability actions in insolvency situations.
In addition to his legal practice, Badenes is a published author of numerous articles on insolvency and restructuring, corporate liability, and complex dispute resolution, which have appeared in leading legal and economic publications.
