Cuatrecasas adds tax partner in Chile

Amory specializes in tax law, advising Chilean and foreign clients on corporate, family, and personal tax planning, and providing consulting services on inbound and outbound matters. She has participated in the structuring of businesses and companies in Chile and abroad and has extensive experience in tax audits and litigation with the Internal Revenue Service and before tax and customs courts, courts of appeals, and the Supreme Court.

She is a director of the Chilean Institute of Tax Law, a member of the Board of Tax Law Experts of the Colegio de Abogados de Chile, and a member of the International Fiscal Association.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked at an international law firm in Chile and served as co-director of the tax practice group for Latin America.

She has a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a master´s degree in tax law from the Universidad de Chile, and a diploma in litigation and tax auditing from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
