Baker McKenzie recruits renowned German IP and technology expert Constantin Rehaag for Frankfurt

With Constantin Rehaag arrival, the firm strengthens in particular its cross-border advisory capabilities in the fields of intellectual property (IP) and technology in the EMEA region. Constantin Rehaag joined the 1st of May 2026 as a partner in Frankfurt and will take over leadership of the German IP team. His team will join him, including Senior Associate Carsten Goldstein and Paralegal Anne Bauschke.
Constantin Rehaag joins Baker McKenzie from Dentons, where he served as a partner, Head of the German practice, and Co-Head of the European Intellectual Property, Data and Technology practice group. He has more than 17 years of experience in intellectual property law. His IP litigation practice covers disputes relating to unfair competition, trademarks, designs, copyright, trade secrets, and patents. A particular focus of his work lies in the cross-border enforcement of IP rights and strategic brand management. He also regularly advises on AI-based business models. Another key area of expertise is combating product and brand piracy, including related criminal enforcement measures.
Constantin Rehaag advises numerous national and international companies, particularly in the technology and digital economy sectors, life sciences/pharmaceuticals, as well as luxury and consumer goods. He is also a frequent speaker at EUROJUST and the German Judicial Academy, and a member of the Legal Expert Commission of the Observatory at the EUIPO.
