Astorg and IQ-EQ Complete Acquisition of US Service Provider Blue River Partners

With over €8 billion in assets under management, Astorg is one of Europe’s leading independent private equity firms, while Blue River Partners is one of the largest providers of outsourced solutions to alternative asset managers in the US.

With this operation, IQ-EQ hopes to increase its presence in the US market as part of its global growth strategy. The acquisition allows the investor services provider to bring together over 200 professionals across seven offices in the US. Offices are located in Houston, Austin, Dallas, Forth Worth, New York City, Chicago and San Francisco.

Luxembourg-based law firm Stibbe, led by corporate and M&A specialist and counsel Vanessa Schmitt, advised the two companies on their acquisition of Blue River Partners. Counsel Michaël Meylan and Jean-Marc Delcour, as well as associates Inès Denison and Nawelle Deghdough, also took part in the transaction.
