Luxembourg-headquartered law firm Arendt & Medernach has announced the opening of its office in Frankfurt, and the addition of four partners in Luxembourg.

“In our Frankfurt office, Arendt will continue to provide its unique expertise in Luxembourg law, tax, regulatory, consulting and investor services from a single point,” Arendt co-chair Claude Niedner said.

“Through its local presence, Arendt will be in a position to more closely provide guidance to asset managers and investors already active in the Luxembourg market or interested in the Luxembourg fund center,” the firm said.

“Arendt´s capability to focus specifically on the legal requirements and market practices to which German clients are subject when structuring Luxembourg products and transactions will be considerably enhanced. We are also looking forward to strengthening our ties even further with our peers from major international and local law firms and continue to serve them with respect to all Luxembourg matters,” Arendt’s head-of-office in Frankfurt Constanze Jacobs, said.

Jacobs will be supported in Frankfurt by Paul Noffmann, senior associate, investment management, while Philipp Jost and Dominik Pauly will coordinate German market activities between the Frankfurt office and Arendt’s headquarters in Luxembourg.

In addition to the opening of the new office, the firm also announced four new partners: Fouzia Benyahia, Stéphanie Lhomme, Stéphanie Maschiella and Serge Zeien.

“They will leverage their expertise to enhance the firm's capabilities across six different domains, and the appointments underscore Arendt's commitment to further developing its strategy, aimed at providing clients with comprehensive guidance across all facets of their projects, showcasing the breadth of our expertise and support,” the firm said in a statement.
