Arcaplanet strengthens its presence with the acquisition of Hobby Zoo, Green Pet and Miele

Arcaplanet, Italy’s leading company in the specialized distribution of pet products, has simultaneously acquired Hobby Zoo S.r.l., Green Pet S.r.l. and Miele S.r.l., which operate chains of specialized stores located in the Veneto, Trentino and Marche regions.

With this new acquisition, Arcaplanet continues its growth path and the consolidation of its leadership position in the Italian pet care market, further strengthening its territorial presence.

Gitti and Partners assisted Arcaplanet with a multidisciplinary team coordinated by managing partner Vincenzo Giannantonio, together with partner Carlo Andrea Bruno and partner Cristina Cavedon, senior associate Daniele Rositani Conti, associates Elisabetta Trecani and Alessandro Baronchelli for corporate-M&A matters; senior associate Virna Caterina Ferretto for real estate matters; partner Elisa Mapelli and junior associates Francesco Cannavina and Michela Baldassarra for labour matters; partner Laura Sommaruga and senior associate Federico Ianeselli for administrative law; partner Marco Blei for IP matters; as well as junior associate Rosanna Forcella.

Grant Thornton advised Arcaplanet on financial, tax and payroll aspects with a multidisciplinary team comprising Alberto Alverà, Edoardo Dell’Acqua, Arianna Campanile and Francesco Tutucci for Financial, Gianni Bitetti, Mattia Tencalla and Ludovica Mazzilli for Tax, and Marco Agnoli, Andrea Giordan and Valentina Grasso for Payroll.
