Andersen has expanded its litigation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and arbitration practice with the appointment of Jacopo Celesia as a partner. Celesia joins the firm’s Milan office following a 15-year tenure at a leading Italian law firm, bringing extensive expertise in managing complex disputes across the energy, real estate, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Throughout his career, Celesia has specialised in civil, industrial, and tertiary procurement litigation, as well as matters involving new technologies. He has advised capital companies, investment funds, and private investors on significant disputes before state courts and national and international arbitral bodies. His experience covers a broad range of issues, including real estate developments, general contracting relationships, and insurance-related litigation.
Andrea De Vecchi, CEO of Andersen Italia and co-managing partner for Europe at Andersen Global, stated that the arrival of Celesia marks a strategic step in the continued development of the firm’s legal practice. He noted that the litigation and arbitration department now consists of 25 professionals, reflecting the significant growth recorded by the division in recent years and the firm’s commitment to providing specialised support across all business sectors.
Francesco Inturri, coordinator of Andersen’s legal area, added that the hire further consolidates the dispute resolution department by integrating distinctive skills and substantial experience in managing technically and legally sophisticated litigation. The firm continues to build a high-profile multidisciplinary team capable of offering structured and specialised support to its global client base.
