Andersen Barcelona appoints partners to Corporate M&A and Public & Regulatory practices

Andersen has reinforced its Barcelona office with the appointment of Ana Úbeda to Corporate M&A and Ingrid Barruz to Public & Regulatory practice.

With more than 20 years’ experience in commercial and corporate matters, particularly franchising, agency and distribution, Ana Úbeda joins Corporate M&A practice, having advised domestic and international companies on franchise documentation adapted to Spanish law and on out-of-court dispute resolution. She collaborates with the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, is a member of the AEF (Asociación Española de la Franquicia) and the Associació de Franquícies de Catalunya, and holds a Law degree from Universitat Abat Oliba CEU and a Master’s in European Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Ingrid Barruz joins Public & Regulatory practice. With more than two decades advising companies in highly regulated sectors (including healthcare and automotive), Barruz has solid experience in administrative, environmental and public procurement matters and has contributed to national and international regulatory projects. She holds a Law degree and a PhD from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and completed postgraduate studies in Politics, Policies and Environmental Regulations at Vermont Law and Graduate School (US).
