Acon Investments acquires Kisabor

Acon Investments, a private equity fund manager, has acquired Food Brands, the owner of the well-known Brazilian food products Kisabor, D’Cheff, Aroma das Índias and Billy & Jack.

Acon Investments, a private equity fund manager, has acquired Food Brands, the owner of the well-known Brazilian food products Kisabor, D’Cheff, Aroma das Índias and Billy & Jack. Regarding the transaction, Stocche Forbes advised on the legal front for Acon Investments, while BR Finance acted as financial advisor to Kisabor’s partners. 

The deal will be executed through the Alaof V Brasil fund and includes the acquisition of the holding company New Time. Acon Investments already has experience in the Brazilian food and consumer market, via companies such as Sapore, which provides corporate dining services. Acon also recently completed the sale of Dori to the Ferrara Candy Group. 

With $7.2 billion in AUM, Acon focuses on mid-sized companies with annual revenue of $100 million and above.
