Track record: The team intervenes in various complex high-profile white-collar crime matters – money laundering, mismanagement, corruption cases – defending either individuals or compa- nies, which are victims of fraud and other wrong- doing in asset tracing cases before criminal law authorities. On the investigations front, they have been engaged in many large-scale inves- tigations for FINMA and for banks. The team’s activity is mainly financial services – especially banking, life sciences and technology.
Team & differentiation: The investigations and white-collar crime department has six partners, two counsel and 15 lawyers. The Geneva team, headed by the renowned expert Saverio Lembo, is more specialized in white collar crime, while Länslinger’s Zurich team – the first Swiss team with such specialization – is centered on investigations. Geneva-based Andrew Gabarski, who recently became a professor at the University of Lausanne, is also to be cited.
