Vinicius Jucá Alves joins Lefosse

In late May, distinguished law firm Lefosse announced the hire of a new partner, Vinicius Jucá, in a move that bolsters the firm’s Tax practice and elevates its partner count to 11.

Mr. Jucá holds over two decades of experience in the market and routinely advises clients from the food and beverage, mining, cosmetics, automotive, infrastructure and power industries on sophisticated administrative and judicial tax litigation cases involving indirect taxes.

"Vinicius Jucá is a professional with recognized national and international performance. His admission strengthens our expansion and service provision strategy in the tax field, a field that stands out due to the growing demand in strategic cases," stated Rodrigo Junqueira, Lefosse’s managing partner, about the new partner.

Academically, Mr. Jucá holds a Bachelor of Laws from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), a specialization degree in Economic and Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), as well as an LL.M. degree in Tax Law from the Georgetown University (USA). He is also a member of the Brazilian Chapter of the New York Bar Association (NYSBA).

"The practice of tax litigation involves the entire business cycle and requires a technically strong service, but with a practical vision, with the development of strategies that best represent the client's position in complex cases. For this reason, I start working at Lefosse very motivated to combine my expertise with that of the firm, recognized for its leadership in the main fields, multidisciplinary performance, and in full expansion strategy", stated Vinicius about his new partnership.
