Veirano unveils new dispute resolution partner
Diego Capistrano joins the firm's dispute resolution team coming from BMA - Barbosa Müssnich Aragão

In April, renowned law firm Veirano Advogados announced the hire of a new partner, attorney Diego Capistrano, in a move that strengthens the firm’s dispute resolution practice.
“Diego brings an invaluable experience in litigation and arbitration. He will undoubtedly strengthen the longtime successful work carried on by our exceptional dispute resolution team, besides the many potential synergies between him and our partners from the other practice areas.”, stated Paula Surerus, Veirano’s managing partner.
Diego has over 15 years of experience in the legal market, as well as an extensive track record advising domestic and foreign companies from the construction, insurance, logistics, mining, oil & gas, power, telecommunications and transportation markets on a wide range of litigation and consultancy matters regarding civil, regulatory, bankruptcy and contracts issues. Coming from BMA – Barbosa Müssnich Aragão, Mr. Capistrano has also previously worked at Squire Patton Boggs (USA), Basilio, Di Marino e Faria Advogados, as well as Osorio Fernandez Mariz & Assed Advogados.
Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Laws and a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ), a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and an LL.M. in International Law from University of Houston (USA).
