Wenger Plattner has welcomed two new partners, Tobias Meili and Damien Schai, to its IP/IT practice. They will work alongside Andrea Strahm and her team.

Switzerland’s Wenger Plattner makes key IP/IT practice additions

The arrival of the new partners considerably strengthens the firm’s intellectual property and technologies capabilities.   

Assigned to the commercial and corporate law department and the intellectual property and IT department, Tobias Meili will advise clients in the areas of commercial and corporate law, corporate governance, corporate mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, in addition to handling their data protection and IT law issues.

During his career, he has spent time at Lenz & Staehelin (1998 to 2004), was head of legal at Accenture Switzerland, then corporate legal at Syngenta Group, an international agricultural company.  

Damian Schai has become a partner in the IP/IT, life sciences and health law departments. He represents and advises companies and individuals in all areas of intellectual property law, including copyright, personality law, name and company law, contract law, unfair competition law and data protection.

He previously worked at Lenz Caemmerer from 2009, becoming a partner in 2017.  

Wenger Plattner is a Swiss business firm with offices in three cities in Switzerland (Basel, Zurich and Bern) and a representative office in Geneva. Its IT/IP department is now made up of six lawyers and two consultants.
