Portuguese law firm SRS Advogados has recruited Sara Estima Martins from PLMJ as new partner for the EU and competition team, headed by Gonçalo Anastácio.

Sara Estima Martins has over 15 years of experience and specializes in competition. She has been a partner at PLMJ since 2016 and her expertise covers competition law matters, especially merger operations, cartels and other horizontal practices, vertical agreements and abuses of dominant positions.
She has advised clients on the implementation of internal compliance in competition law and to undertakings in matters of European Union law, in particular in matters of freedom of movement, structural funds, the common agricultural policy or access to documents of the European Union institutions, often representing them before the European Commission and the Court of Justice. She was a secondee associate in the competition law department of Allen & Overy in Madrid.
