Spain's K Fund launches €70m startup vehicle
Madrid-headquartered venture capital firm K Fund has launched its second fund, a €70 million vehicle that will invest in seed-stage startups.
It will target businesses such as sales prospecting software company Bloobirds, in which K Fund invested earlier this year.
K Fund was advised by Cuatrecasas on the launch of the fund. The Cuatrecasas team was led by Jorge Canta and included Edvinas Kiskis, Pilar Pastor Reig and Paz Irazusta Cordoba.
K Fund, which is led by co-founder and managing partner Iñaki Arrola (pictured), has invested in 28 startups – including Coverfy, Billin and Factorial – since it was founded in 2016.
Investors in K Fund include private and institutional investors such as the European Investment Fund.
