CMS signs partnership with law firms in Brazil and Mozambique

Peruvian law firm Rubio Leguia Normand has announced the incorporation of Pedro Pablo Castañeda D'Brot as a new partner in its real estate and land reclamation area.
Pedro Pablo has more than 15 years of experience in real estate operations and projects for different sectors and in the management and obtaining of licenses for the operation and functioning of shopping malls, and specializes in real estate, property registration, administrative law, arbitration and relations with public and private entities.
“With his incorporation we reaffirm the growth and strengthening of our real estate area,” the firm said.
Prior to joining the firm, Pedro was deputy corporate director of institutional relations at Real Plaza, and prior to that held the positions of associate at law firm Delmar Ugarte and senior property lawyer at Hochschild Mining.
He has also held the positions of associate at Estudio Grau and lawyer at Peru’s national government property management governing body.
Highly educated, he holds an international arbitration diploma from the Universidad ESAN, and completed a course in international commercial arbitration at the American University Washington College of Law, in addition to a real estate law course at the ESADE university.
He also completed a specialization course in compliance and best corporate practices at the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima.
Founded in 1980, Rubio Leguía Normand described itself as leading firm in Peruvian commercial law, and has offices in three major cities across the country and a team of more than 80 lawyers.
