Telecoms, media & technology boutique, Porto Legal, has bolstered its practice by bringing on board Luis Miguel Yrivarren Celi as a partner and Sofía Bazán Pereyra as associate.
Specializing in projects, public law, financing and arbitration, Yrivarren has broad experience advising sponsors, project managers, financiers, suppliers and the government on many of Peru’s most important infrastructure projects. His expertise includes the organization, structuring, negotiation and closing for public and private clients. A graduate of Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, he has postgraduate studies in tax law from Universidad de Lima.
Bazán has extensive experience in corporate, administrative, copyright, trademarks, patents, intellectual and industrial property, consumer defense, unfair competition and sanitary regulation. A graduate of Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, she holds a master’s degree on intellectual property and competition from the same university, as well as postgraduate studies in finance and corporate law from ESAN, marketing branding and consumer from CENTRUM and civil responsibility from Universidad Castilla.
