Pesquera Austral Secures $30m Loan in Peru

Fisheries group Pesquera Austral has secured a $30 million loan from Banco de Crédito del Perú.

Pesquera Austral is part of Norwegian company Austevoll Seafood ASA Group, one of the largest fishing companies in the world, and which is publicly traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Austevoll has operations in Chile, Norway, Peru and the UK.

The funds will be used for the company’s general corporate purposes.

Peruvian law firm Lazo & De Romaña advised Credicorp Capital Servicios Financieros and Banco de Crédito del Perú, with a team led by Freddy Escobar Rozas, Paola Massa and Mercedes Arguedas. Credicorp Capital Servicios Financieros acted as arranger.
