Peru’s Miguel Mur promotes litigation lawyer to partner
Peruvian law firm Miguel Mur Abogados has announced the promotion of Enrique Figueroa to partner, and who had been the head of the firm’s litigation area since July 2020.
A litigation lawyer with more than 10 years of professional experience in arbitration and judicial proceedings in civil, commercial, administrative and constitutional matters, Enrique has been named an outstanding lawyer in Peru by the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA) on four occasions between 2016 and 2021.
Prior to joining the firm he held the position of senior associate at Peruvian law firm PRCP.
He has also worked as an arbitrator at Peru’s Chamber of Commerce, and as a lecturer at the Universidad de Piura.
He studied international arbitration and investment at the Universidad del Pacífico, and holds a law degree from the Universidad de San Marcos.
