Olivério Dal Fabbro Abid Announces New Head of Compliance
In late January, São Paulo-based corporate law firm Olivério Dal Fabbro Abid Advogados announced the hiring of Clara Carneiro Pereira as counsel and new head of its Compliance, Procurement and Public Acquisitions department.
With over 11 years of experience in the legal market, Ms. Pereira will focus her practice on advisory matters involving multinationals and startups, especially govtechs, edtechs, healthtechs and fintechs, as well as structuring the firm's compliance department. She previously acted as the legal manager and compliance officer of MindLab do Brasil, which is a client of Olivério Dal Fabbro Abid Advogados.
Academically, Ms. Pereira holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade de Ribeirão Preto, a postgraduate degree in Public Law from Damásio Educacional and an MBA in Business Law and Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Additionally, she undertook two specialization courses in Compliance from Insper and Fordham University (USA).
"Clara’s arrival motivates us given the deep knowledge she has of our clients and their profiles. She is a professional that delivers results, has superior technical knowledge and has the DNA of the firm, an agile and tailor-made advocacy, capable of advising companies from their very inception to an IPO.," stated João Otávio Pinheiro Olivério, founding partner of the firm.
