In less than twenty years, the Brazilian businessman has managed to build a corporate empire. With 2.2 billion dollars in turnover, CCR is among the world’s biggest concessions and infrastructure companies. Some 54% of Brazilians use one of its facilities on a daily basis. He has since embarked on a project of global expansion, targeting American airports, for one thing. In 12 years the group has given over 50 million dollars to worthwhile causes, leading to improvements in the living conditions of up to one million people.
