Colombian law firm Rincón Castro Abogados has announced its launch, co-founded by lawyers Rafael Rincón and Miguel Castro.
Chilean law firm Guerrero Olivos has promoted Benjamín Novoa to partner, joining a team made up of 20 partners, a senior counsel and 58 associates.
Benjamín has developed his professional career at the firm, starting as a paralegal, and then as an associate lawyer from 2010.
Benjamín is a member of the banking and finance, project finance and corporate practice areas, and has extensive experience in business law, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance operations.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he worked as a Latin American fellow with White & Case in Miami between 2017 and 2019.
Regarding Benjamín’s appointment, Juan Enrique Allard, a Guerrero Olivos partner, said: "This fills us with pride, especially because of Benjamín’s professional and personal skills. This appointment is part of Guerrero Olivos' strategy to continue growing and strengthening relevant practice areas for the office and our country”.
