New Antitrust, Competition, and Trade Regulation Partner in K&L Gates Brussels
Nikolaos Peristerakis is joining Brussels K&L Gates as a partner in the antitrust, competition, and trade regulation practice.
A former partner at Linklaters, Peristerakis is a competition practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in Brussels. He advises and represents companies on merger control and antitrust investigations before the European Commission and national authorities in Europe, as well as on a global basis.
“The Brussels office has seen a rapid increase in competition and regulatory work principally driven by significant global transactions,” said Tony Griffiths, K&L Gates’ managing partner for Europe and the Middle East. “We identified the need to bring in senior behavioral competition experience to further strengthen the competition and regulatory capability. Nick meets that strategic requirement perfectly.”
The antitrust, competition, and trade regulation practice at K&L Gates is composed of nearly 80 lawyers throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
