Monereo Meyer adds Juan Casulá as a partner in IP practice

Monereo Meyer Abogados has just hired two lawyers, Juan Casulá and Rodrigo López, to strengthen its area of industrial and intellectual property law.
Casulá joins as a partner and will lead the industrial and IP practices. He has more than 25 years of experience in both national and international lawsuits on patents, trademarks, unfair competition, advertising, intellectual property, and related rights. He specializes in negotiations and contracts, especially licenses, confidentiality, and the distribution, franchising, and transfer of IP.
In addition, Casulá is a member of the Spanish chapter of the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Industrial and Intellectual Property) and is a professor of the Magister Lvcentinvm of the University of Alicante.
Casulá and López will be located in the Madrid office, while Consuelo Álvarez, an IP lawyer who has been with the firm since 2014, will continue in the Barcelona office.
