Two new partner appointments have been made at Molina Ríos Abogados, a Chilean law firm which specializes in construction, infrastructure and insurance law. The firm also recently announced an overhaul of its corporate image, as well as a move to new premises.
Felipe Correa Molina has focused his expertise on litigation, arbitrations and mediation, especially in civil, construction, infrastructure, real estate and insurance matters. He has broad experience in advising on infrastructure projects, concessions and public works.
Prior to joining the firm, Correa worked at the Un techo para Chile foundation. He has experience abroad, having completed an internship as a foreign lawyer in the insurance and infrastructure area of Clyde & Co in London. A graduate of Universidad de los Andes, he holds a master’s degree in alternative dispute resolution from UST Minnesota.
Rachid Ruíz Cuéllar has broad experience in litigation and dispute resolution, focusing on advising and litigation in regulatory matters, as well as commercial, labor, administrative disputes and claims, especially related to engineering projects, construction, insurance and concessions of public and private works.
Ruíz graduated from Universidad Internacional SEK and holds a master’s degree in labor law and social security from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He has several diplomas in specialization in contracts and damages and labor for companies and real estate from Universidad de Salamanca and Universidad de los Andes, respectively.
