Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli & Partners has given its real estate department a shot in the arm by hiring Andrea Francesco Castelli, who will co-head the practice alongside Gianluca Gariboldi.
Securing Castelli’s signature is part of the firm’s strategy for the development of those areas representing the most significant business opportunities and where the firm can still grow. The M&A and finance departments have been involved in numerous, high-profile real estate deals over the years and so the firm last year decided to set up a dedicated department by bringing in Gianluca Gariboldi, a renowned urban planning expert in the Italian market.
Andrea Francesco Castelli graduated magna cum laude from the Catholic University of Milan with a degree in business law. He spent time as a senior associate at Chiomenti, where he assisted both Italian and international clients on M&A transactions and acquisitions of real estate portfolios and investments in real estate funds.
The Italian law firm, created in 2012 from the ashes of Dewey & LeBoef by managing partner Bruno Gattai, has over the years been able to attract the best talent active in the Italian market. Today the firm has more than 130 lawyers and offices in Milan, Rome and London.
