Mexico’s JC & Holding acquires Farmalogica
Mexican company JC & Holding, dedicated to investing in Latin America and tied to an important pharmaceutical group in Mexico, has acquired Farmalogica, which provides product packaging services to the pharmaceutical industry and the entire production chain of pharmaceutical, veterinary and cosmetic products distributed in Colombia and abroad.

The financial details of the transaction and the identity of the sellers were not disclosed.
The acquisition creates a synergy as two industry experts unite their strengths to consolidate and increase their presence of this Mexican group in Colombia, according to Gómez-Pinzón, the Colombian law firm that advised JC & Holding on the transaction.
The transaction was subject to several conditions precedent, including the non-objection notice from Colombia’s industry and commerce regulatory body SIC.
Gómez-Pinzón’s team advising JC & Holding was led by partner Lina Uribe García, with senior associate Andrea Stephanou Cruz, associate Juan Felipe Saenz Dussan and junior associate Juan Pablo Calle Gallego.
JC & Holding was advised in Mexico by law firm Díaz Igareda, with a team led by partner Rodrigo Igareda Diez de Sollano.
