Turkish law firm ELIG Gürkaynak has announced two new partners, Ebru Ince and Harun Gündüz, while Selen Ermanli Sakar and Can Yildirim have been promoted to counsel.
Mexican law firm Laruni & Asociados announces its launch
Laruni & Asociados, a Mexican legal, accounting and personnel management firm that plans to provide high-impact consulting and strategic advisory services, has launched.
The firm specializes in corporate governance, M&As, advertising regulation, gaming and sweepstakes, intellectual property, franchising and licensing, contracts, real estate, labor law, money laundering prevention, anti-corruption, personnel management, business consulting, and accounting and tax services.
An Everlay Group company, the firm’s multidisciplinary team “has practical experience, accompanied by a broad knowledge of the areas of specialization, as they have participated in complex operations for projects both in Mexico and abroad, contributing to the execution of these, standing out for their innovation and creativity, always following the principles of quality and professionalism”, according to the Mexico City-based firm.

The new firm is led by managing partner Alan León Chávez. Prior to the launch for the new firm, Alan had worked as legal and compliance counsel at Mexico’s Grupo Jumex for almost seven years, and also held the position of corporate legal counsel at Grupo Modelo, one of Latin America’s largest breweries.
He holds a master’s degree in corporate law from the Universidad del Valle de México, and a law degree from the Universidad Tecnológica de México, and has completed a number of courses on intellectual property, patents and advertising regulations, among others.
