Lydian promotes commercial and litigation partner
Belgian law firm Lydian has announced the promotion of Jo Willems to partner, who joined the firm in 2005 as a trainee in the commercial and litigation team.

Willem’s promotion to partner, which was effective from late 2021, shows how Lydian nurtures talent and offers young lawyers so many opportunities, the firm said in a statement.
Jo Willems is the first new partner of his generation at Lydian.
Jo obtained his law degree in 2004 from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a postgraduate degree in economic law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Jo specializes in commercial law and strategically important disputes, often with an international component, and has extensive experience in assisting companies and insurers in matters such as contract management, distribution, product liability, shareholder conflicts and professional liability.
