The Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association has named Stephane Pesch as its new CEO.
After 14 years working for different Luxembourg based banking and fund servicing institutions, Stephane Pesch joined LPEA’s board in October 2019 as director of strategy implementation, assisting the then CEO, Rajaa Mekouar, as part of LPEA’s Roadmap to 2025 plan. Having been appointed CEO in September, he is now in charge of coordinating the association’s technical committees, public advocacy and the recently launched the LPEA Academy, a new strategic initiative designed to enhance private equity education in Luxembourg.
As LPEA’s new CEO, he will develop strategic initiatives and foster new opportunities. More specifically, he will be tasked with explaining the benefits of private equity not only in Luxembourg but also at European level. Pesch also aims to attract sophisticated, motivated and private equity qualified talent and work on content development.
The Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association represents, promotes and protects the interests of the Luxembourg private equity and venture capital industry. LPEA provides an interactive platform which helps investors and advisors to navigate through latest trends in the industry. The association allows members to network, exchange experience, expand their knowledge at an international level and grow professionally attending workshops and trainings held on a regular basis. It was created in 2010 by a leading group of private equity and venture capital players in Luxembourg, with 280 members today.
