Linklaters advises on €100m Nucap-Artá Capital deal
Linklaters’ Madrid office advised Nucap Industries on the sale of braking system manufacturer Nucap Europe and Nucap Vehicle Component (Shanghai) to private equity firm Artá Capital.
The deal was valued at €100 million.
The deal is the eighth completed by Artá Capital’s second fund Artá Fund II. Arta will aim to consolidate Nucap’s presence in the European braking systems market, while boosting its presence in other markets, including Asia. A total of 80 per cent of Nucap Europe’s products are exported.
Artá Capital’s managing partner is Ramón Carné (pictured), who has been with the firm since its inception in 2007.
The Linklaters team advising Nucap Industries included partner Carmen Burgos, senior associate Enrique Areilza, and lawyer Pablo Medina.
