Chile’s Honorato Delaveau has welcomed Matías Langevin as a new partner. Langevin will lead the corporate finance and international transactions practices. This move brings the firm’s partner count to five.
Langevin has extensive experience in financing operations, M&A and capital markets transactions both to local and foreign clients. His experience includes a wide range of financial transactions, such as syndicated banking credits, structured financing, project finance, initial public offerings, local and international and purchase and sale of local and foreign corporations, among others.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Morales & Besa for 15 years and also has experience abroad, having worked for two years as an international associate at Shearman & Sterling in New York.
A graduate of Universidad de los Andes, he holds a master’s degree from Duke University. In addition, he is a member of the International Bar Association and an officer of its banking law committee.
