Former Aninat Schwencke Partners Create New Law Firm

Former Chilean Aninat Schwencke law firm partners Luis Alberto Aninat, Manuel Blanco and Rodrigo Ugarte, alongside with María Eugenia Sabbagh and Martín Mois, both former directors of the firm, announced the creation of a new firm entitled Aninat Abogados.


They will continue their practice in this new firm, along with a group of associates and practitioners who will join the firm as senior counsel, including Maximiliano Santa Cruz, a former director of INAPI, Chile’s patent and trademark office, joining for intellectual property practice; Cristián Reyes, former head of Chile’s economic prosecutor’s juridical division, joining for antitrust and unfair competition practice, and Domingo Irarrázaval, former partner at Cubillos Evans, joining for natural resources practice.


The firm will focus on technology transfer, protection of data and of intangible assets, antitrust, regulation and compliance, in order to face the new demands appearing in their ordinary practice areas, which include corporate law, M&A, corporate finance, tax law, labor law, water rights, litigation and arbitration, among others, as well as for financial services, real estate, construction, natural resources, commerce, agro-industry and other businesses.
