Dirce Rente joins the firm as a partner to coordinate the new department of Criminal, Regulatory, and Compliance law, starting in September 2023.
With over 15 years of experience and a career with special focus in on economic and cross-border criminality, Rente has built her professional career at PLMJ and has been recognized by various international directories and publications as an remarkable professional in the new generation of lawyers. She has experience in regulatory law and advising national and international companies in the Compliance practice. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Penal Forum – Association of Penal Lawyers and a member of the Legal Experts Advisory Panel of Fair Trials International.
Rodrigo Almeida Dias, co-managing partner of Eversheds Sutherland FCB, clarifies that the establishment of a separate department of Criminal, Regulatory, and Compliance law had been on their office’s horizon for some time and that they welcome the opportunity to have Dirce join them.
